This was my second time coming here for dinner on 7/27. We went a bit early to avoid having to wait, though we did end up waiting around 5 minutes for a table. No big deal though! We ordered the rose creamy rice cake and cabbage beef short rib soup. It came with sides of kimchi and radish, my favorite! The rose creamy rice cake was as good as the first time I tried it! Nice and chewy rice cakes in a not too spicy sauce with lots of fish cake. I tried the cabbage beef short rib soup this time around and what a good choice! The soup was so well flavored and seasoned and came with 2 beef ribs and a side of rice. The beef ribs could have been more tender but I also haven't had this dish before so I'm not sure. But even so, I would get the soup again! The seating area and bathroom were both clean as well. Staff help package leftovers in a sealed container, making it easy to take away. They have a big menu and plenty of options! I'll have to come back and try the cold noodles next time.

I coincidentally checked out this place over a year ago when looking for a late night spot around the area to grab a bite after going to an event nearby. I believe during that time we ordered the spicy sundaeguk and the cold acorn noodle. I remember loving it so much that I said I HAD to come back again! Fast forward till today, I came back to visit and ordered their rose rice cake, regular sundaeguk, and the acorn cold noodle. The same as last time, I highly recommend getting the acorn cold noodle! The rose rice cake and regular sundaeguk were pretty decent too, but the cold noodle is the must get item here!

This is probably one of my favorite korean spots in the Bay. I came here a couple of times but some of the food I've tried: -Spicy braised beef short ribs -Noodled creamy rose spicy rice cakes (my favorite) -Chicken wings -Pork belly wraps I'd probably recommend the creamy rose spicy rice cake noodles the most. Their chicken wings and Short ribs were also very good, so I would definitely get one of those as a protein choice. They also come out piping hot, so that is always great. Service: the service has always been very good. They are pretty fast, and they let you know what food is good if you ask them. I also found my new favorite sake here thanks to their servers :) Ambiance: Its like a typical korean restaurant, a little small and can be pretty loud at times. Its a nice spot to hang out with friends for late night. Overall, would highly recommend this spot if you are nearby. Itll be difficult to top this spot in the bay. There also a lot of other korean spots in the area that are really good, but I just prefer this place over all of them :)

Before a dive in on the food review. I'm gonna share a customer service experience. And why I'm giving this place 5 stars. We had forgot one of our to go bags, and while we was walking back to the car, the server literally ran down to us to let us know we forgot our to go box. The food overall 4 out of 5, but for that customer service experience on top of the food I'm giving this place 5 stars. Food orders was the half/half soy garlic and spicy. Light and crispy outside and juicy/tender inside. Cabbage short rib soup was the dish of the day. Simple ingredients and solid flavors which all mixed well. Ordered the other beef short rib soup, tater tots, dumplings and rice cake noodles. Mid, 3/3.5 out of 5 for me.
